Holmes & Shaw, Inc.Holmes & Shaw, Inc. ("HSI" or the "Company"), a service bureau, is a full-service provider of computer output solutions. This includes laser printing and mailing of business critical documents (non-promotional documents which are essential to the overall operation of the issuer) in mass for its customers. Since the Company began offering state of the art computer services to San Antonio and South Texas in 1968 its focus has evolved and today HSI is exclusively involved in large-scale laser printing with efficient, cost-effective mailing support services such as automated mailing and custom tracking systems. The need to lower the overall operating costs of a business is the driving force behind the outsourcing of print and mail applications. Increasingly, companies are focusing on their core business and outsourcing other non-core-related services such as laser printing and bulk mailing. HSI provides the support services that otherwise would be done in-house but are often more cost effective to subcontract. |
